No, he didn't equate women with cows and pigs.  He's talking about how it's sad to see something not born alive.  Not the analogy I'd use, but you're making a pretty big stretch on this one.

I don't want to be Analogy Police (YES I DO), but Nathan is right.  This is an analogy.  An analogy compares something that's substantively alike in two otherwise unalike things.  An analogy does not "equate," or imply that the two compared things are substantively alike in all ways.  If it did, it wouldn't be an analogy.

Ya know, I almost used "compares" instead of "equates" for the post title.

OK, well he still wasn't comparing women to cows or pigs, so that wouldn't have made it much better anyway.
