Really?  He's probably the best liked Republican in the country among the online right, after maybe Jim DeMint.  He'd have a fairly reliable base if he ran in the balanced-budget voters, and can effectively bridge the gap between the Tea Partiers and more Moderate Republicans.

I can't see places like Iowa and South Carolina going for someone like him. He looks like a mafioso. Plus, he's effectively ''pro-choice'' and ''anti-gun''.
