The interview is at 10:00 am.  This means I want to be there by 9:40 am.  Google Maps say it will take roughly 45 minutes to get there no matter which way I go.  So, I am going to leave here at 8:50 am to give me plenty of time.  My Nyquil will probably wear off between 5:30 and 6:30 am, so when it does I will get up, take some Dayquil, and stay and get ready.  I plan to be up no later than 6:30 am anyway so my Dayquil can have time to take effect so I'm not sneezing and blowing my nose all over my interviewer...

Foreshadowing?

He'd have to get off of his couch. Not happening.

Does it really matter whether or not he gets this job? Either way, he's going to be unemployed and looking for the next step of his career at Christmas.

It is a 30-day probationary period, instead of a 90-day, so I would definitely have to hit the ground running and buckwle down hard.

That's unfortunate.

Bushie didn't even make it to the end of his probationary period with the other employer and then says this new job will be "even easier."

Just gauging on what I would actually be doing.  It looks to be a lot simpler.

How so?

RIP AutoCADD software.

I guess it's for the best. He's already stated that he has no idea how to use it.

Hopefully they have a nice conversation on the ride together.

"Son, what the hell are we going to do with you?"

Jeff, will the Family Bushie all be voting this November?

You bet we will.  I'm the only one who will mark a Democrat on my ballot.  I'm voting for Joe Dorman over Mary Fallin.

That's the only Democrat you're going to vote for?

Bushie, is Joe Dorman the only Democrat you're going to vote for this year?

Bushie, are your folks upset about gay marriage coming to Oklahoma?

Edit: I guess you've answered this (sort of).

So did Bushie end up going on that long drive with Papa Bushie?

I imagine Bushie will be a major topic of discussion at the dinner table.

Yeah, Bushie has never known true desperation. Mama and Papa Bushie have always been there to catch him when he falls.

I feel bad for Bushie now. I think he's finally beginning to come to terms with what is going on. I wonder why he wasn't invited to the family vacation?

I think the family wanted to discuss what to do about him in private.

Jeff, did you have one of your episodes last night?

Like that time when the cat scratched you and you broke down and cried like a new born baby? Or like that time when you screamed obscenities for like 15 minutes straight until you got red in the face and almost passed out?

By the way, have you followed the Update survivor game at all, Jeff?

You should vote in the final round. It's down to Papa Bushie and JJ (aka Blondie)!

Sounds like Jeff is finally leaving the door open to seeing a psychologist in the future. That is a very good thing.

Praise Update!

Exercise is out of the question. No point in even asking about it anymore. The AutoCAD(D) software, which Bushie hardly ever used to begin with, will also never be touched again.

don't y'all find it suspicious that Bushie's home alone all weekend with Blondie aka J.J. and he hasn't take one photo of the lovable little may-or-may-not-be-dead puppy for us?

Seemed to me that Bushie lost interest in the dog formerly known as Blondie as soon as the pup was renamed by his parents.

Bushie, how many hours a day do you spend playing on your tablet at your parents' place?

That's the nice thing about pizza delivery. You sit in your car and drive all day. I don't know why you won't consider it. The pay is comparable to all these pipedream CAD jobs that you'll never hold anyway.

He doesn't really seem to like driving though (especially if it's raining or whatever).

Anyone should be worth at least $15 an hour. That's what the minimum wage should be. Sadly, we don't live in a country that cares about poors.
