What would be the charges, though? And what would be to gain? I can't really imagine Obama getting impeached. It'd be bad for everyone (even for Obama, whose popularity would, at least on paper, go sky high, causing him and supporters to confuse anti-impeachment sentiment for approval of his legacy.)
The South Dakota Republican party voted to impeach Obama for negotiating the release of a POW and trying to enforce the clean air act. The clean air act was signed into law by Nixon. Maybe that's why he almost got impeached.
But seriously, 20000 Americans die a year from air pollution, and in 2008, the Republicans nominated a POW who cracked for President.
The Bergdahl release was weirdly handled, but not illegal. The PPACA is a major problem, but the congress voted for it, and Obama merely signed it into law when it was delivered to his desk. Renegging on his promise to cancel the Bush tax cuts when they expired was a total pussy move, but it wasn't impeachable. The spying is horrible, but it falls under the general aegis of the 2008 ACLU vs. NSA Supeme Court decision. I just don't really see any reason he should be impeached. He's not perfect, but he hasn't committed any worse crimes than his predecessor.
The only illegal thing I can think of is ordering the execution of Osama without trial. That's basically murder. It is probably extralegal in the US code, but given the level of animosity toward Osama, I don't think anyone will hold it against Barry. Other than that, none of the silly stuff Barry has done doesn't really rise to the level of an impeachable offense.
I can tell you that if he is impeached for any reason, and I get a call from a pollster, then I'm going to answer yes to that pollster's question about approval of Barry, no matter the circumstance. Moreover, I suppose that many, many others will as well, so I'm sticking with my 70%+ vote.
