I've found that Upworthy isn't just unpopular on this site, if you google it you'll find all sorts of articles complaining about how annoying it is, but it seems that hipster Christians love it and it's constantly being shared on my Facebook feed. Not the first time me and people like me have liked something way more than most people, but what's the reason?

I can honestly disclose that I have not heard of Upworthy outside this forum, and I have never looked at the site until I saw this post. I've just spent about 20 minutes looking at it.  I'm not sure what to say other than say that now I understand you just a little better, and I regret both of those aspects.  Until now I knew you were annoying, but I thought you were one in a million so the rest of us were relatively safe.  Now I think you're probably more like one in twenty thousand.  That's a much more unsettling thought.
