Wow, if Afleitch loses by one vote, that would be awful and show a flaw in Atlasia

What if Tweed loses by one vote?  Still show a flaw or no?

Clay, no offense but you completly missed the point of my post.  I'm saying that my vote was disqualified b/c I edited my vote unaware that such a rule existed saying I couldn't.  If he loses by one vote he lost b/c of a technicality and that is awful for the people of Atlasia

It really wouldn't be the first time it happened.  IIRC, I won by one vote, and others did too.

Again, my point is missed.  I'm saying my vote should be counted

But it can't. We have rules and those rules say you can't edit your vote, period.

I'm saying that I was unaware and that rule sucks and is pointless.  What is the big deal about editing a vote?  Obviously you did it and not someone else.

The intention is to not let you change your vote late in the election in order to throw it (with IRV, you can eliminate some candidate early. With fptp, of course it's even easier.)
Of course, you're right in saying that the rule can suck. We had even worse rules at one point that thankfully got thrown out by now, but this is one's a holdover from when we made voting difficult for people.

I see your point I think this issue needs to be addressed.  My vote change was about 5 mins afterward, no one else had voted after that.

Really?  I was using Tweed's numbers that are up and adding the three more votes that came in since which all flowed to Afleitch.  What do you have?
