It's the truth, not politics.

Full marriage rights.  Civil unions are a form of "separate but equal" thinking.

I can already tell this is going to be a hot topic. Anyway, I voted for No Recognition. (Hey, everyone, let's laugh at that stupid homophobe Willy Woz!)

What's your reasoning?  Do you support recognition for heterosexual couples?

Uh yeah....

It seems weird that more conservatives haven't been voting on this...

BushOklahoma is about the most conservative here (by your definition), and he favors civil unions. Inks will be around shortly, I'm sure.

May I ask you why you voted No Recognition?

Because I believe homosexual behavior is immoral. Then again, so does StatesRights, and you never beat up on him. Part of being an American is having Freedom, but you guys don't seem to understand that.

Freedom to oppress others? Funny, I seem to recall that rights only come without impugning others' rights.

Freedom to oppress others? Funny, I seem to recall that you support destroying freedom of speech, religion, and expression.

Next time, try saying what you're about to post out loud before typing it. If it sounds like you're a raving lunatic, don't post it.

No, I don't.

So even you aren't as much of a pinko/commie as I thought...

Ah, so you're someone else who doesn't know what "pinko/commie" means.

And, FYI, there's basically no one who supports such things. Just stop getting your religion in my marriage (and, 'lo and behold, I'm straight, too).

Gay marriage, though technically what I really support is civil unions for all (hetero and homo) with what defines marriage being left up to individuals and churches.

Agreed, although I'd prefer gay marriage over the current scenario any day of the week.

Inks where in the bible does it say that marriage is between a man and a women?

I Corinthians 6:9 says that homosexuality is a sin.

That didn't answer my question, I asked where in the bible does it say that marriage is between a man and a women?

Every other good marriage that we see is heterosexual.  All the homosexuals are punished.  The absence of the opposite proves this, kinda like gravity - sure, there's no way to prove it works 100% of the time, but we've never seen it do anything else.

What?

All homosexual marriages/relationships in the Bible were punished.  All of the blessed marriages were between men and women.  So the absence of saying marriage can be between men and men or women and women would imply that it must be heterosexual.

Their was no homosexuals in the bible.

Genesis 19:4-5 in Sodom and Gomorrah

The primary sin of Sodom and Gomorrah was supposedly hostility towards guests and beggars, not homosexuality.
