He's quite hysterical, in both senses of the word. But that tends to be a pretty typical reaction: Whip up the hysteria that it's all anti-Semitism.
What I really hate is that these sorts of arguments force the admission, "There are anti-Semites, but..." Because there are anti-Semites, and such arguments force criticism of Israel to spend an absurd amount of time arguing about why it isn't bigoted. (In fact, the article may even address some real anti-Semites, but it tars with far too broad a brush.)
Of course, exaggeration will always happen among those with political agendas. The comparisons to Warsaw in regards to Gaza are clearly not apt. But we don't call it bigotry when PETA compares fur to the Holocaust, or when neoconservatism says Saddam Hussein was like Stalin. Ridicule those who make such exaggerations is one thing; drawing the conclusion that they must be bigots is quite another.
