The super old folks around here still call it "the home country" and pine for the days when they could hear stories about Norge from relatives.

Freedom country for sure.

They're wealthy, relatively egalitarian, generally quite good looking, and nobody is better than anybody else despite all of those mountain tops for rich people to live on top of.  What's not to like?

Oh, and they make a mean Rommegrot


Which is an excellent Christmastime breakfast with cinnamon and sugar and raisins or other fruit.
