You're going to be paying $1,100 per two years for an iPhone, along with possible repair cost, insurance cost, and cost for charger and cover. A healthcare plan may be ~$2500 a year for someone in their twenties. That ~$1500 minimum you end up paying for an iPhone could go a long way to paying for healthcare.

An iPhone does not cost $1500. It costs $649 plus tax for the 4.7" 32GB iPhone 7. An iPhone SE costs $399 plus tax. I'm not including the cost of insurance, possible repair, charger or covers. Unless you want to start comparing to insurance plans with all kinds of "extras" as well.
I really just can't... your post was really that awful. Somehow a $400 phone turns into $1500 minimum and a healthcare plan only costs $2500/year!
