It's sad that he still would have been a better representative for New Orleans than Anh "anti-stimulus" Gao (R).

Look on the bright side, the media can't spin this now as part of the Democratic "culture of corruption" and rave about how one Democratic congressman means the Democrats are 100x more corrupt than the Republicans ever were.

I wonder if there's a scorecard somewhere of corrupt Republicans v. corrupt Democrats?  I bet it would come out almost dead even.
