Green.

An appropriate color for one of the states that gave us "The Green Mountain Boys".  :-)

Is that a real quote? What was the context? Pretty sick if it's real. "My beautiful mind"... lol.

It is a real quote.  From a Good Morning America interview.  I used to really like Mrs. Bush, but when I heard that -- my jaw completely dropped.  They were interviewing her about the war and criticism of her son.  And she launched into this polite, but strange semi-rant about how the media always look on the bad side of things to make her boy look bad.

My dim view of her was further dampened when she said the people in the New Orleans Superdome were now "better off".

Is Shrub looking at Katrina victims, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights or the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 25 in that picture?

It's not the war of Northern aggression...it's the war of Southern stupidity.  Besides, the South has been promising to "rise again" since 1866.  We're still waiting.  Perhaps some Viagra might help 'em finally get it up?

It's not the war of Northern aggression...it's the war of Southern stupidity.

You're only saying that because you known the South IS rising again (economically) and you're just not willing to admit you're getting lonely with all your fellow Yankees moving down to the Sun Belt Tongue

I love the South.  Virginia, particularly.  Richmond, specifically.  I think I'd love to live in the South.  But that could just be February talking, I dunno.  I do know there are probably more free-thinking liberals down south than there currently are here in northeast Indiana.  And less Klan, too.  Ironically.

It would be interesting if this liberal joined the parade of Yankees moving South.  And all that was left in Indiana and much of Ohio, Michigan and rural Pennsylvania were slaw-jawed, mouth-breathing, inbreds with "white power" tattoos and Elvis on velvet paintings on the walls of their trailers.

You make an excellent point, Willy!
