I feel like mentioning the Taborites here. No reason; just think they were cool.

They seem interesting.. (Yes, I just wiki'd them to see what the hell you were talking about. Wink )

For the record, I'd pretty much agree with Ernest here. One could easily cherry pick quotes from bible to justify absolute monarch, republicanism, dictatorship and so on...

Christianity takes no particular stance on what form of governance to use among men, save that they are all flawed compared to the divine rule that is to come.
