Reminds me of how if a travel agent hadn't screwed up we wouldn't have had any of Seth MacFarlane's contributions to pop culture post-9/11. Now that'd be pretty tough to fathom and quite depressing too.

Mark Wahlberg was also scheduled to fly on Flight 11, but canceled at the last minute.

On a sad note....one of the co-creators of Frasier was on Flight 11 with his wife, along with the wife of Anthony Perkins.

Wait, the guy who played Norman Bates? I thought he was gay.

Even if he was, it was a different time, even in Hollywood (where not much has changed, to be honest). If you were gay, you were pressured to marry a woman and keep up appearances. Stories of affairs with other men only really come up posthumously.

Their son is musician Elvis Perkins. Some of his songs reference the notable deaths of each of his parents.
