"Accepting" people that clearly don't fit in with the norms of the community degrade and undermine the community into a cesspool of lowest-common-denominator idiots and freaks as everyone else gets chased off by the lowering standards. People that don't belong need to be ostracized and excised from the community as quickly and harshly as possible.
Then let the moderators and administrators deal with it. I have no problem with that. But we shouldn't be solving these problems through harassment and personal attacks. This forum doesn't need to descend into some sort of Lord of the Flies lawless anarchy where we get rid of bad posters by ruthlessly tormenting and persecuting them. There's a reason, or at least there should be a reason, that we have rules and moderators. Now I know the moderators here are more concerned with making sure no one says naughty words and closing one of the most popular threads because of their personal biases, but maybe they should do a better job of actually making sure that this place is readable and engaging, instead of relying (as you seem to be implying) on mob rule to do their job for them.
