Godwin's law just means that the longer an internet 'discussion' continues, the more likely it is that someone will compare someone to the Nazis. It doesn't seem to have much to do with mentioning the Nazis in the context of an attempt to ban circumcision in Germany.
An attempt by unqualified individuals, some of them abusing office, others acting in a private capacity.
It's really quite the incredible story, and of course it will be put right and very probably would even if it didn't involve Jews as well.

But Rabbis have not been allowed to perform the rite for years, only licensed medical practitioners - in jurisprudence of Anti-Islamic tendency, of course - and didn't ever usually perform it anyways - Mohels do.

Not in an extermination camp, obviously, but it's far from impossible at many other places. It may also be a real story augmented for dramatic telling. (Heck, virtually everything Americans, Jewish or not, believe about WWII is.)

Evidently not the "expecting her to kill herself" bit, and probably not the SS uniform - as that's something anybody retelling the story to dumbs would add just because he'd expect dumbs to not have heard of anybody else (German troops, Ukrainian troops, Romanian troops, Romanian police, Jewish police...) guarding concentrated Jews.

And quite possibly not the handing her the knife part, either.

When they were eliminating the last of the ghettos in Poland, they didn't necessarily bother even transporting the oldest and the youngest. Similarly, they also held selections when they eliminated smaller ghettos and transported their "useful" populations to other ghettos rather than camps. I could certainly picture an emergency circumcision under such circumstances.

Understatement much?
His point is misguided, though. This is not an issue on which playing up the holocaust guilt can harm your cause in any way - indeed, being shrill about it will help drive home the point just how monstrous that silly islamophobic verdict was. Which is something that needs to be done.
(Incidentally, because you'd still have to have the legal guardians suing the doctor for him to be punished, and these are the very people who hired him, the verdict has no direct effect in a way. Of course, major hospitals are being scaredy-cat about legal action... they certainly don't want to be collateral damage in some custody battle.)
