Italian. Also Deep Southern US, btw. Yes, and French too of course.
I've never tasted it, but it's said to be quite pleasant. Unlike snails. Which I did taste once. Not that good. But better than shrimps or mussles.

You know. There are some beers that do taste well even when not served chilled. And that includes many British beers. Nothing wrong with that.
