I've heard some lovely things regarding 8-year-olds being kidnapped and forced to perform sex acts in those border towns Opebo mentioned. Apparently, the police there are more interested in ticketing the German tourists' cars.
Ah yeah, those stories. Yeah, they crop up in the German media from time to time as well... what actually did happen is somebody set up a scam in Cheb where VERY young girls were parading as prostitutes, and if anyone went in with them they were robbed and tossed out the backdoor, counting on the fact that pedophiles wouldn't go to the police because they'd be liable to be arrested as well.
