Well, from what I see... the traditional SPD stronghold areas with a sizeable moderate/populist SPD tradition (so, either roughly where he is now or almost anywhere in Northern Hesse) would fit well.
Or I could go with the cheap shot and say that as an American-Hessian, he obviously belongs in one of the Wetterau towns like Bad Nauheim or Büdingen. Smiley
