Amendment (easiest way to fix my quibble):
"Foreign Aid Restoration Bill

The Foreign Aid Reduction Act (F.L. 10-4) is hereby repealed. Funding is restored to 2004 levels."

I doubt it. They'll be afraid he'll annoy them to death, then take over.

What about my friendly amendment, Al? And what about my quibbles with your bill?

The amendment does nothing but change the text to include a bill reference, the rest is just debate, correct?

Yes. That is all the amendment does.
It also removes a pointless section number and adds a period at the end. Stop trying to play down my contributions to Atlasian society! Angry

Probably time to open a vote on the amendment Dwtl proposed.

So, yeah.

Amendment:

To strike text of bill and replace with the following:

Atlasian Sovereignty Act

To modify F.L. 10-4, also known as the Foreign Aid Reduction Act, to read:

1. The budget of the International Assistance Programs division of the State Department shall be reduced to $500 million immediately upon the passage of this bill. This budget shall be used at the discretion of the State Department.

Please vote aye, nay or abstain.

Wtf? A post of mine is missing here above that yin.
Did I post it at all? Or did I accidentally modify it to this? I am not sure...

Yeah. Anyways. I know what I wrote, and it was this:

Amendment to add another sentence at the end: "Funding is restored to 2004 levels from the next fiscal year." Just to fix my quibble.

Still offered as friendly in case Al so desires, btw.

Next fiscal year and onwards, unless/until it's changed again. As we currently have no budget process...

Okay, as there has been an objection to the adoption as friendly, we will now vote on the Amendment.
Amendment to add another sentence at the end: "Funding is restored to 2004 levels from the next fiscal year."

Please vote aye, nay or abstain.

Aye.

And if this fails, I'll reword it.
