Today is a big milestone for the Democratic front runner, her hearing before the House Select Committee on Benghazi. The attack on the Benghazi consulate in Libya happened over 3 years ago on 9/11/12 (read the wiki for more).  After a number of other investigations  and reports have been issued from the FBI, the State Department, two Senate committees and five House Committees, in May 2014 the House decided to create yet one more committee...the one committee to rule them all...the Select committee. While there are more hearings and investigations to come, it really has all been leading up to this.

The hearing begins at 10AM EST and it is reported it will last all day (up to 8 hours).

You can watch a live stream of it
at the official committee site: https://benghazi.house.gov/hearings
on C-span 3:  http://www.c-span.org/

According to MSNBC...

Taking a look at how the media is portraying this, it seems that no damage was done and it is possible that Clinton may even get a boost out of the hearing. The committee itself is getting a lot of criticism, even from conservatives. I wonder if Speaker Ryan will support the committee going on and on into 2016 or if he will ask them to wrap things up.

BTW, one indication that the hearings weren't going as planned halfway through FOX stopped covering them live and switched to commentary and playing just their favorite bits, while CNN and MSNBC stayed with live coverage all the way through.

The GOP are lucky that SNL is off air this weekend. They would have a field day with this. Mediate even 'imagined' what it would be like
