I would not be surprised if the networks add a requirement of meeting ballot access deadlines to their future debate criteria, just like they had criteria for FEC filings and early state staff and trips.  I don't remember if they did this in the past, but then again we didn't have as many broke campaigns hanging on pretending they are still running in years past.
