Personally, I think if

Arizona, Arkansas, Viriginia or North Carolina even became competitve, the election is already over for the GOP....

If California, New Jersey or Maine became competitve, the election would be done with the Dems.

The person who stops campaigning in any of these states is already dead: Nevada, Colordo, New Mexico, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Floria. (basically the Big Three, The Western Great Lakes and the suburban western states)

Would you like to amend this?

I dunno. Its about how the war ended as well, if the dems successfully gain enough GOP votes and get a bill that scales back the war in a way that brings 70% of the soldiers home and the rest into Kurdistan or the desert by the election, the anti-war fervor may turn to rewarding the dems instead of punishing the GOP.
