Secures the south, has trouble with bedroom democrats in the west, but wins big in the rust belt.

Wins the Libertarian convention and makes 5% of the vote. Though he does poorly, he basically is the father of the Libertarian Party becoming the default second party in places like Idaho, Wyoming, Vermont and Massachuettes.
