Are there any liberal activists threatening Kucinich and Grijalva with a primary challenge over this, or do they get a pass because they're against it for "noble reasons"?
The response to Grijalva's comments on Daily Kos was about 90% fury, so they aren't "getting a pass" from most Kossacks. Politics in his district being what they are, the practical opportunities for unseating him are nil, though.
That's my first reaction, but reading Grijalva's comments, I think he's just positioning himself for negotiating against Obama's nifty Republican ideas unveiled this week, and won't be the last vote against reform. I have to hope so. He hasn't closed the door on the bill and I have to believe he's not trying to lose this one.
