From what I read, Rubio approached Christie just before the debate and said "I understand I'm in trouble." Christie, without smiling, said "Yes you are." That would put anyone off their game, especially a laid back guy like Rubio. Rubio is a nice guy. Christie is a d*ck.

Right and now Christie is out and Rubio is drawing huge crowds in South Carolina.
