If trade restrictions are imposed these people are all going to lose their jobs and will be far, far worse off than before the advent of the sweatshop. Why do you hate poor people?

e: The basic argument here is literally "We're not going to trade with countries until they're as rich as we are". Er...

We do, however, live in a world that could restrict trade with countries that don't require living wages or safe work environments. But that would hurt the feelings of the 1%-ers, so it's probably not going to happen any time soon.

So you punish the worker by denying them a chance to make a living? That doesn't seem fair.

I'd like to see some answers to these posts.
