The third answer is the obvious answer.  Of course it exists, we can point to examples of it all day long.  Is it a big deal 90% of the time?  Nah.  We should ALL point and laugh at it, not try and score political points.

I have no idea what you're trying to say.

What I'm saying is that when the Seattle Council on Human Rights tells city employees to stop referring to lunches from home as "brown bags" because somebody thought that somebody else might be offended by it....that we shouldn't go all crazy and complaining that something must be done....we shouldn't do that.  It's not that big of a deal.  We should laugh at it though.  Laugh at it because it's ridiculous.

How can I reform it?  I can help make the Seattle Council on Human Rights to be embarrassed.  I can't boycot them.  I can't vote 'em out.  Why shouldn't we laugh at it?

If laughing at something is a "bold move" to you, how do you feel about boycots, strikes or nasty letters to the local paper?
