When I was 17 years old, I actually twice answered the phone for a political poll, and they started launching into the questions, before I stopped them with "Sorry, I'm not old enough to vote." My father had passed away and my mother was a Canadian citizen, so I'm afraid my household wasn't able to contribute to whatever the poll was.
Never got called by a pollster after turning 18.
Kinda same kind of stuff, except that I was old enough to answer (and if i hadn't been I don't think i would have stopped them ^^), twice the same year 10 years ago, and never after that, regardless I was/(am
) a young male, I heard they have an hard time finding some, maybe I wasn't interesting enough.
Or maybe I didn't answer about the questions on chainsaws and pens which were in the middle of the political poll with enough passion...
Lol, I felt I had more political impact by doing that than by voting...
