Terrible.

I mean they'd be OK if they were pro-gun rights, but they just seem pro-gun.

They sometimes advocate as though the rights belonged to the gun itself rather than the person who might want to have a gun.   They figure that if "Guns don't kill people, people do" that if you have to place restrictions on either the gun or the person, it is better to restrict the person directly. Just look at their response to the mental health issue, with Wayne Pierre talking about how we need to start locking more people up. The 2nd Amendment exists to protect the others, but they'll give up the rest of the Bill of Rights in a flash if they think it will help them protect the rights of every kind of gun to exist under the 2nd.
