A nice name, but too many religious connotations for my liking.

League Announcement:

The way the season will work is that every team will be a real NFL team, such as 2003 Denver Broncos. Then the games will be simulated on whatifsports.com.

Every owner please choose a team to be. First preference goes to teams from that city, for example, I have first dibs on any Baltimore team. Aside from that, first come, first serve. Also, no NFL franchise can be represented more than once.

I am the 2000 Baltimore Ravens. Now, no one else can be the Ravens, from any year.

They have to be near us? Darnit, I can't be the Patriots from last season then I take it? Sad They are the only team I really know other than the 49'ers

I'll be the 49'ers from 1994.....

You could be the Pats, but the Boston team gets first dibs.

Nah, I'll let them be, I'll be the San Francisco 49'ers from the 1994 season.

You can be the San Francisco Sharks, there needs to be a bay area rivalry like 49ers-Raiders

Sure why not. San Francisco Sharks it is then.

Is that division locals or state locals? Because there isn't a team from Illinois if the latter is the case.

I think City Locals, heh, so you should be cool Smiley.

Wait wait! What happened to the PA 13ers? This is an outrage!

You should have bought the team

This is disappointing  Sad

Oh well...let's go Cheesesteaks...I guess...

Phil, buy the Michigan team. Nym doesn't seem to want it.

I would not mind buying the Michigan Franchise and holding it until someone is interested.

Akno, could you get King to update the first post and list those teams that are as of yet unavailable, I may be interested in purchasing another if you need a buyer.

Here is my first go at the League standings

Reason why Spartans are first is based on pts allowed

NFL teams are in the wrong columns it seems to me, San Francisco Sharks have the '80 raiders next to them rather than the '94 49'ers which is by the team above.

home teams always go first, so Western vs. San Jose means Western hosting San Jose.

Nope Tongue Here they put So and so AT so and so 2 - so the second team is at home which is the case with you two's game.

Pacific
1) San Jose Kings (6-2)
2) San Diego Spartans (6-2)
3) Western Bulldogs (4-4)
4) Washington Cascades (2-5)
5) San Francisco Sharks (2-6)

You have the scores wrong there King, Sharks are 3-5

That there be three wins Tongue so 3-5, not 2-6 Tongue. I think you also have the Cascades scored incorrectly too though I am not sure.

Teams highlighted in yellow need to fire their coaching staff.

GIVE IT UP FOR THE #1 TEAM IN THE AFL. THE PITTSBURGH SOULTIES

Joint with San Jose Kings it seems. King, as you are 8-3 and Wildcard is 7-3, shouldn't you be higher?
