I would’t blame him.
The Democratic Establishment having endorsed Wall Street-friendly “Democrats” for U.S. Senate seats in Maryland, Ohio, and Pennsylvania—all of whom won their primaries for nomination—and endorsing former Republican Patrick Murphy over truly progressive Alan Grayson in Florida is not okay.
The No. 1 problem with this Democratic Party is their neoliberalism. And that would explain why Bernie Sanders wasn’t a Democrat from the get-go. (He is much better than the party, being truly progressive, and is a lot closer to being a New Deal Democrat than just about every current Democratic U.S. officeholder.)
I don’t believe what the OP suggests will actually happen. Working on the reshaping the platform of the Democratic Party is a part of the reason why.
