Not even close! Either Baltimore or New Orleans, though both have cleaned up in recent years. Most cities have. The late 20th century was ridiculous!

Crime is going down, but still, the top 5 most dangerous (crime) cities in America are New Orleans, Detroit, Baltimore, St. Louis, and Chicago.

     Maybe it is just the proximity talking, but I feel like Oakland is pretty damn scary.
