I can't speak for other senators, but my votes against yankee were nothing to do with any animosity towards him or the federalists, but because the PPT is inherently a political position, and whoever controls can choose to fastrack legislation.

Not inherently, though it tends to become so. The difference becomes once people have it whether a usually partisan vote leads to a partisan result if that makes sense. I would point out that I recall putting some of your bills and Tyrions in the PPT and other "discretionary slots" and even putting TNF's imperialism thing in the FP was a recommendation of mine (though didn't quite get that particular slot of course).

Without a doubt, that would be bgwah, because he was far better at being a hardass than I am. My claim to fame is consistency of activity for a long duration of time and fairness. So it comes down to perspective probably and what one values more.

Could we possibly get the current result with all the counts displayed? Tongue

Especailly since that middle one seems to matter most.

So what percentage actually thought the election was over at midnight, at midnight?

I would guess the same percentage that didn't read The DoFE board. Tongue

From the whispers and sounds I heard, more people on your general side of the field than ours. Tongue

Reminds me of the exchange from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly:

Eli: Hurrah for the Confederacy! Hurrah for General Lee, God is with us because he hates the Yanks.
Clint: No God's not on our side because he hates idiots also.
Troops arrive and dust themselves off revealing their blue uniforms

Your Fed numbers don't match mine.
