I will be seeking the ratification of my position as Northeast Representative at the next election, as well.

I will be running in the special election for the Northeast Assembly

oh me to! It was fun. Smiley

How does someone from SF run in the Northeast?  Why wouldn't you stay on your side of the country?
I don't like the west. I prefer the east coast.

Except for furriners, who have to pick which region, it seems there should be some rule requiring registration in one's own region.   I know others do what  you did too, but to me it seems it's done soley to get elected in some other, weaker, region.
oh I did not do that. Not at all. I am not elected to anything. I would never do that.

I could have sworn you were a member of the NE assembly, no?

I am not anymore. They didnt want me there.

No.  You were appointed by Former Gov. AndrewCT to fill a vacancy, but didn't run in the February election.   You weren't elected to the new Assembly because you weren't on the ballot.  That had nothing to do with "they" not wanting you there - whoever "they" are.

I am running in the special election for the Northeast Assembly.

I suggest you send a PM to the Lt. Gov. very quickly telling him to place your name on the ballot. The election starts in about five minuets. Smiley

Labhas shouldn't have been named on the ballot.  The filing deadline was midnight Thursday.  He should have been treated as a write-in.

Yes

Since when?  You do know that there are rules regarding how often you can switch states, right?

The last voter roll had you listed as living in Illinois.  When did you declare your move to the Northeast?

I will run in the upcoming special election for the Northeast Assembly vacancy.

Not a fan of the big government proposals, like, needle exchange programs?

No, I'm not a fan, but that's not why I'm running.  We need to get a Seats Number Constitutional amendment on the ballot,  that can actually pass - and I can't propose much if I'm not in the legislature.

To make it clear, I was interested in running in a special election for a temporary open Northeast Assembly seat.  I no longer wish to run (as the term would be very limited at this point).  I also do not wish to run for a full term and will not accept write-ins in the upcoming Northeast Assembly elections.

I hope you have a shotgun and a horse.  Otherwise, you don't give a RIP about Alabama.

I hereby withdraw my candidacy for the office of Northeast Assemblyman and urge all of my supporters to vote for Cincinnatus and Marokai Blue.

if you are at all interested, you should run. until they reduce the size of the legislature, it's not competitive, and you'd be keeping the carpetbaggers out.

Edit: oh, I see it's a special election, so only two seats.  you might consider running in the regular timed election though.

While we won't know until election day, there will likely be only 5 seats in the next Assembly, anyway.  The size depends on the number of Northeast residents and the population of the Northeast continues to fall.
