Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, commonly referred to as Mormons, are, obviously, Christians.

The term Mormon derives from the Church's belief in the scriptural Book of Mormon.  The Church as well accepts as scripture the Holy Bible, and uses the King James version.

Hmmm, I seem to recall that heretics was the term used at the time of the Protestant Reformation by the Roman Catholic church in referring to anyone who took issue on anything to do with the Catholic church.

Well, we all know how that turned out, don't we, with about 650,000,000 Protestants in the world today.

Now, nobody get on their high horse of indignation, I am taking no stand on Catholicism in any way, shape or form, simply stating historical facts.
