Considering all of the good that this bill does, that seems like a very petty reason to vote down a bill, especially considering you never brought up this concern before now.

As someone who has experience with social justice and working with trans individuals, this is the gender neutral term that is most widely used and is considered the most acceptable replacement for gender specific pronouns. I stand firmly by my decision to include it in this bill.
