What are the major issues being debated for the midterms

So, trying to get up to date with the midterm elections here from Denmark. What are the big current issues that dominate public discourse and will affect how people vote come november? And which sides are benefiting from which issues at the moment?

Is the border control issue going to matter for the midterms?

Is it still Obamacare all day every day?

Are the foreign crises (Russia, Israel, Iraq, etc.) being debated much in the US?

Benghazi (LOL)?

Does the general american realize how dysfunctional congress is at the moment and are they blaming the right people?

Do people in the US know or care about the (frankly ridiculous) congressional lawsuit against Obama?

The economy is improving but will that affect how people vote?
