It is already a urban legend that the exit polls were correct and showed a Kerry win and therefor the election was stolen by electronic voting machines.
But go check for yourself, the final exit poll results that include all voters, not just early voters can be found on the CCN web pages.

There was no significant descrepency.
The whole DU, DailyKos, Left-wing conspiracy theory that the election was stolen is based on early exit polls before everyone voted, why should anyone be surprised those incomplete polls were inacurate?
