He was always the typical staunch liberal fanatic hiding behind left-wing aesthetics. There was nothing “new” from him at all, nothing about him ever deviated from average democratic party positions.

The way people are shocked is only not that ridiculous because I don’t think people are surprised by the pro-Israel positioning, but more about how vocal and confrontational he chooses to be while most democrats are as much pro-Israel like him but there’s a higher level of shame and awareness about supporting mass genocide.
