But certainly, indicting your opponent and trying to keep him off the ballot is also very anti-democratic, so I totally understand where you’re coming from

Biden didn't sue to keep Trump off the ballot.  In Colorado at least, it was a group of Republican voters.

And as for indictments: when someone apparently commits a crime -- let's take the classified documents case, which is a serious crime for which the evidence is overwhleming -- they should face the criminal justice system for it.  Running for office shouldn't give you a pass for it; no one is above the law.  And of course, the state-level indictments aren't under the federal government's control at all.

Easy to find a handful of people in any camp with tens of millions of members to support whatever ridiculous cause you want. The case was bankrolled and directed by liberal activists.

Regardless, Biden's DOJ is clearly targeting Trump

Do you think that any candidate for President should be automatically immune from being indicted?

When someone apparently commits a crime -- let's take the classified documents case, which is a serious crime for which the evidence is rather overwhleming -- they should face the criminal justice system for it.  Running for office shouldn't give them a pass for it; no one is above the law.  If someone NOT running for President did the same actions, do you think they should be prosecuted for it?  Please answer yes or no.

And of course, the state-level indictments aren't under the federal government's control at all.
