If Massachusetts is even remotely close to being competitive, the election's already over anyway.  The GOP's best shot here is Rudy Giuliani, who I'd imagine would do unusually well with the Italian/Catholic communities here.

Still, that just means he'd lose by "only" 15.

if the iraq war is over by nov. 08, rudy might be able to keep it iwthin 15 in mass.

otherwise, no way.
