Honestly, at first I think I'm most upset that flannel is one of their outfit choices. I thought the extended multi-day protest was disgusting enough only to find out there was specific targeted bullying alongside it and no mention of any administrative action. Of course, it's not exactly a press release but no source mentions any type of intervention. Not trying to limit the free speech but some of this is harassment going well above and beyond the statement. Most horrible piece of news in at least a week. Should go over great on here.

Is this happening on campus? If so, the administrators should shut it down. There is no right to free speech on a high school campus. SCOTUS has so held. When speech gets disruptive on campus, shut it down. The brats can do it off campus on their own time.

Yes, most of the campaign appears to be related to dressing in solidarity so that can be tough to stop but even some of the stuff just beyond I might typically support even if there is no right to it (like the writing on the hands). Beyond that is obviously borderline free speech even outside of a school.

And it allegedly gets worse somehow with reports of a "lynch list" circulating the school...

Still no reports of any intervention except by teachers who acted by themselves to take hateful posters off lockers.
