I think Roche, Ellmer's opponent, raised about 2% of the money she did.  If he had decent funding it would have been a close race I think.  Hopefully Walter Jones hangs in there.  I like the idea of a conservative somewhat anti-war candidate getting renominated in the South over well funded, Palin endorsed opposition.

If North Carolina had a 50% runoff rule, how would a Tillis vs Brannon contest had played out. I'm guessing Tillis would still win, but I wonder by how much.

Is a Sasse victory in Nebraska a victory for Gang of Eight style immigration reform?  He didn't sign the FAIR pledge which called for no form of amnesty and no increase in legal immigration, and Osborn did, but has he in fact said he would be in favor of a Schumer Graham Durbin Mccain type immigration reform?

It was no surprise that Lindsey Graham won in South Carolina, but his 57% victory leaves me wondering what would have happened had he faced a bigger name opponent, one who had funding somewhere in the same neighborhood as him.  As it was, a runoff between Graham and Bright would have also been intriguing, just because there would have been alot of momentum going to Bright assuming he picked up the endorsements of the also rans.
