I haven't read on him too much, but here's what I know:

-He's not Le Pen, Fillon or Melenchon.
-He seems to piss off right wing populists and True Leftists BIG TIME.

So I have to go with FF.

All neoliberal, all the time!

Anyway, if BRTD wasn't already fully on board, I'm sure the fact that Russia is fabricating rumors against Macron will convince him that he must be a massive FF.

No reaction from BRTD? Color me disappointed.

Uh I didn't even say I'd vote for him in the first round. I'd vote for Hamon obviously, but I'd have no problem voting for him in the second.

It should be obvious to you that I simply have a very narrow Overton Window, with anything falling outside of it I consider to be irredeemable. Sanders and Hamon fall basically perfectly within it, Macron and Hillary are on the right end of acceptable. Anyone outside of it, be it left or right, I will always STRONGLY oppose.

My "Overton Window" (what a ridiculous term, but whatever) must be narrower than yours, since Hamon is the only candidate I can support. Macron is basically a right-winger in the French context.

But anyway, I was interested in what you thought of Russia's propaganda against him. I hoped that would elicit more emphasis from you.

So are you actually saying you would NOT vote for him in a Macron vs. Le Pen runoff?

Of course I'd vote for him. That doesn't mean I'd be minimally happy about him winning.

Macron is the man behind the economic policies that helped send Hollande's approvals into a tailspin and hasn't seemed to learn much from it. Pardon if my comparison is off or a bit cringe worthy, but he's like a more globalist Manuel Valls.

He's basically Valls, except that Valls went through the regular course of partisan involvement and showed his loyalty by taking part in the primary and supporting the winner, while Macron came out of nowhere (from a past as an investment banker, no less!) and expects everybody to bow down to him.
