Yes, if only it had the exuberance, internationally knowledged cultural landmarks like the met, the Museum of Natural History etc etc etc etc, International artistic Landmark, the Center of world Commerce, diversity that offers a literally a thousand choices in ethnic cuisine, celebrations, interactions, plus being as American as apple pie and what Middle America tries to ignore.

Yes, someday it will equal Alabama in these areas. Roll Eyes

NYC doesn't suck anywhere near as much as "family values" Christian Conservative Robert Bentley's mistress

And ironically, Bentley was considered "moderate" by AL GOP standards because he stood against the legislature in not TOTALLY f#$king the poor over.

Um... Pretty sure New York City has more historic ties to the South than any part of the West. It wanted secession more than the Upper South(VA[if you count WV], KY, AR, TX) did - due to the same reason, Lincoln ordering troops from the area - but it wasn't realistic.

That is such lousy analysis on so many levels

Would you like sources on that information? Or sources on how closely tied the economy and thus culture of New York City and the South was, and, to a lesser degree, still is.

Yes.
