The funny thing is that Political Correctness is prevalent, but it actually is in such a way that actually helps conservatives as much as it does liberals.  I mean, what do you think it is when a bunch of bitchy conservatives protest an edgy piece of artwork or when a bunch of evangelical crazies call for the censorship of controversial movies?  To me that is PC gone mad, though the term is so abused by the Reich wing that I can forgive many liberals for thinking that it's only a legitimate concern of people who don't want to be labeled bigots for using cultural slurs.
