If there is no progressive third party, abstain or stomach Paul due to civil liberties.

Easily Obama. Stupid term limits are ridding us of the only half-decent POTUS the U.S. has had since Truman, and quite likely the best POTUS I'll see in my lifetime.

:/

Make no mistake, I'd easily vote for for Obama over some generic Republicans in a two-way race. But when an actual choice on the issue of perpetual war and the emerging police state, I would vote for those who declared opposition to both whatever their domestic policy views. While I don't believe Paul is sincere about theses issues, for now I'll take his word for it.

You're going to vote for a candidate who ideologically would like to dismantle our welfare state and progress toward universal healthcare because he pays lip service to the libertarian crowd on surveillance?

President Barack Obama (D)

I don't intend to vote for Rand Paul, but I'd be more likely to vote for him then a hawk. Fortunately, the Greens always make ballot here, so I'll have a candidate I can vote for with moderate ease.
