I hate this about this site.  Right wing is the far right of the American political spectrum.  Ted Cruz is not right wing.  Left wing is the far left of the American political spectrum.  Bernie Sanders is left wing.

Brian Sandoval and Charlie Baker are moderates; they ARE NOT right wing.

Joe Manchin and Andrew Cuomo ARE NOT left wing.

Now you are very left wing, so I'm sure like 75% of the population seems right wing to you, LOL.
Sandoval and Baker are centre right, it's still on the right of the political spectrum.

Preceisly. "Left" and "right" are wider terms. Just as there's difference between a moderate leaning to the left and a moderate leaning to the right.
