Firm FF on balance, on account of both his domestic labour liberalism and anti communist foreign policy. Scoop Jackson would have been a better President than any actual occupant of the Oval Office between 1969 and 1983. I don't think it's fair to see neoconservatives as his true ideological heirs despite certain connections in personnel etc.-modern-day neoconservatism largely abandoned any trace of Jackson's New Deal liberalism.
